Olaplex

What is Olaplex?

Olaplex is a single active ingredient consisting of the molecular chain bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate. What sounds complicated is actually quite simple: during the dyeing process, the hair fibres are opened up to allow the dye to penetrate more easily. But this also destroys the hair in the long term. This is where the active ingredient of Olaplex intervenes and reconnects this damaged structure so that the hair shines wonderfully and is repaired again. 

Olaplex is also completely free of silicones, sulfates, phthalates, DEA and has never been tested on animals.

For the perfect result you need the 3 hair care products:

  • Olaplex No 1 Bond Multiplier: Olaplex 1 can be mixed with all colours already during the chemical process It does not matter if you colour your hair, make balayage or lighten it. Note the exact mixing ratio in the enclosed instructions depending on the application. Use the appropriate measuring tool
    • Olaplex No 2 Bond Perfector: The Olaplex 2 Bond Perfector is neither a conditioner nor an activator or neutralizer. It contains the same active ingredients as No. 1, but has a creamy consistency, which makes it easier to use. For best results this second step is very important! In this step, further broken disulphide bridges are first connected and then the strength and structure of the hair is rebuilt.
  • Olaplex No 3 Hair Perfector: Olaplex 3 is suitable for proactively repairing the hair damage that occurs in everyday life. It also contains the same active ingredients and keeps the hair strong and vigorous between treatments with No 1 and No 2, actively repairing new damage.

Olaplex No 1 and No 2 are used directly in the dyeing or brightening process and Olaplex No 3 is then used regularly to maintain the effect between dyeings.
