Thermal protection is available in different variants and for different needs. The most common heat protection comes in the form of a serum, spray or cream that protects your hair from high temperatures during styling. Your hair needs special protection when using a straightening iron or curling iron, because without protection your hair will become brittle and dry. Check if your product is suitable for such high temperatures. Not all products protect the hair at such high temperatures. Heat protection should also be used when drying with a hairdryer.
