Harmed hair - what is the right care?
Our hair is exposed to everyday stress and is badly damaged by environmental influences, but also by regular blow-drying, coloring, tinting or straightening. So if you don't take care of your hair regularly and in time, it will soon show on the outside that your hair is broken. But even then, if your hair looks dull or has split ends, there is still a lot that can be done to make it look healthy again. Hair must be able to recover, for this you need extensive daily care. Not every hair is the same, just as every person is individual, so is their hair. Therefore, a hair structure analysis is definitely worthwhile for the perfect care, because even a well-intentioned but wrong supply of care products can cause broken hair.
Styling products can put a lot of stress on the hair
With intensive care, even severely stressed hair can fully regenerate. Especially for women, dry, split hair is a real drama. Those who often want to try out a new style, today straight, tomorrow curly and every few weeks a new hair color, will very quickly feel that the hair health can suffer extremely. Styling products often contain aggressive, chemical substances that can harm healthy hair. Hairdressers know that broken hair is actually always the result of improper hair care or not paying enough attention to it. The good news is that with the right know-how, something can be done for the appropriate hair care at every stage. So no one has to put up with bad-looking, broken hair in the long run.
Mild shampoo free of silicones for frequent hair washes.
It already starts with the hair washing, because there already lurk mistakes that need to be avoided. When choosing shampoo, you should look carefully, it should definitely fit your hair type. The principle applies that a shampoo should be mild and above all silicone-free, because this protects the hair structure, even with frequent hair washes. The sensitive scalp is also far less irritated with silicone-free products than with conventional shampoos. A light massage into the hairline is already quite sufficient, because the water running down the length of the hair is also well cleaned by the rinse. The conditioner after shampooing should also be silicone-free. A rinse through with ice-cold water gives your hair a particularly pretty shine. You can also make mistakes when drying, which your hair hardly forgives.
Avoid heat and strong rubbing after shampooing at all costs.
Wet hair is even more sensitive than dry hair, and if you rub it hard with the towel, you will cause lasting damage to your hair. Instead, simply press the hair lightly with the towel and then wrap the towel around the head for about 10 minutes. Whenever possible, you should avoid using a hairdryer altogether, because dry, hot air can be very damaging to the hair. If you blow dry at all, do so with as little heat as possible. Mousse and hairsprays are not good for the hair, but stick to it or dry it out. Even such seemingly useful accessories as hair clips or hair ties made of metal are not recommended, because they are sharp-edged and therefore easily lead to hair breakage. If you use unsuitable brushes for hair care, you should not be surprised about broken hair. Brushes with wooden bristles or boar are considered gentle on the hair and are also ideally suited for continuous use. These brushes may cost a few francs more, but the effect can really be seen.
Rich cure with olive oil for gorgeous, well-groomed hair.
Women who wear their hair down as rarely as possible have far fewer problems with their hair. Because loosely braided or as a chignon prevents the constant bumping of the ends of the hair on the clothes. Although there are highly recommended and high-quality products for rich hair care in specialized stores, home remedies also help to maintain a magnificent hair image. A cure with olive oil carried out weekly provides radiantly beautiful and velvety hair. Once the hair has been affected, it is often helpful to consciously and completely refrain from washing the hair for several days. This has nothing at all to do with a lack of hygiene, but the naturally produced sebum from the scalp cares for your own hair far better than any care product. Too frequent shampooing in any case unfortunately ensures that the hair dries out and becomes greasy very quickly. Dull, split hair can also be the symptom of an unhealthy diet low in vital substances. If you have been suffering from bad hair for a long time, you should therefore also critically examine your eating habits. If necessary, it may also be useful to take a dietary supplement with natural vitamins, minerals and trace elements, so that the hair looks splendidly shiny and healthy again. Furthermore, stimulant abuse, alcohol, drugs or nicotine, is a known cause of unhealthy hair.
