Igora Royal developer from Schwarzkopf is the oxidant or developer for all Igora Royal hair colours. In order to achieve the best colour results when dyeing your hair, you should only use the original Schwarzkopf oxidants with Igora Royal hair colours. The Igora Royal developer contains valuable oil that locks in the colour pigment and provides lasting colour results and a perfect shine.

Igora Royal Developer, Oxydant or Developer is absolutely necessary when coloring or lightening your hair. The developer ensures that the colour is better absorbed by the hair or lightens the hair by a few shades. The percentage and volume number indicates the amount of hydrogen peroxide it contains. The specially developed Igora Royal Oil Developer from Schwarzkopf contains more than 15 percent of valuable oils that trap the color pigments in the hair and give you long-lasting color results and a wonderful shine in your hair. The Igora Royal developer is available in 4 strengths:
- 3% Oil Developer: The 3% Oil Developer is ideal for use in a darker shade to cover 100% white hair or for use in a lightened hair coloration.
- 6% Oil Developer: The 6% Oil Developer can ideally be used for tone-in-tone colorations, for white hair lamination or for lightening by up to 1-2 shades.
- 9% Oil Developer: The 9% Oil Developer is suitable for lightening the hair by up to 2-3 colour levels or for the hair colourings of Igora Royal series -00. When used with the Igora Royal Ultra Blond colours (series 10-) the hair can be lightened by up to 3 colour levels and with the Igora Royal Special Blonde colours (series 12-) it can be lightened by up to 3-4 colour levels.
- 12% Oil Developer>: The 12% Oil Developer lightens the hair with the Igora Royal Ultra Blond colours (series 10-) by up to 3-4 colour levels. With the Igora Royal Special Blonde colors (Series 12-) it brightens the hair by 4-5 color levels.
