Application

Application Tip:

When using cool shades, start the first application at least 2cm from the hairline. Lastly, apply a neutralizing shade to this area to avoid over-pigmentation.
Dual application:
For best colour results, we recommend the dual application method: a professional application procedure that combines permanent colouring for the roots with demi-permanent colouring for the lengths and tips. This method keeps the lengths and tips in optimal condition - for more luminosity and a long-lasting

colour result:

Part the hair into fine sections and apply IGORA ROYAL to the regrown areas. Leave the colour on for 10-20 minutes
Then apply IGORA VIBRANCE evenly to the lengths and tips and leave on for a further 10-20 minutes
IGORA ROYAL Oil Developer: 3%, mixing ratio: 1:1
Leave on for 5-30 minutes (check regularly)
Use of IGORA ROYAL pastel shades after lightening:
Blonde: In order to achieve the right shade of blonde, it is important to decide at the beginning of the lightening process which tone direction and which end result are desired. Only then can the strength of the lightening and neutralization be adjusted accordingly and the right toner selected afterwards.
The key to the best blonde results lies in balancing the pH of the hair surface immediately after the pre-lightening process. This immediately stops the chemical process and closes the hair cuticle - creating an even base on which the toner can be applied. Leave the toner on according to the instructions. Rinse and dry the hair afterwards and apply the chosen pastel shade to dry hair.

Expert Tip:

If you are using these shades to naturally neutralize faded or lightened hair, start applying to the warmest areas first and leave on for 5-10 minutes. Then continue applying to the rest of the hair before leaving the colour on for a further 5-20 minutes (again, keep watching).
